Chocoholic Anonymous offers a completely free membership designed to make your time on the site more personal, more convenient, and more inspiring. Membership unlocks features that help you save, organize, and revisit your favorite recipes while keeping your experience consistent across every device you use.

Whether you’re here to build a baking repertoire, keep track of family favorites, or discover new ideas each week, membership gives you tools that make it easier and more enjoyable.

What You Get as a Member

A Customizable Member Profile

Your member profile is your personal space on Chocoholic Anonymous. You can:

Choose from a gallery of Chocoholic Anonymous–themed avatars or upload your own
Add optional details like a website, description, or nickname
Review all of the comments you have posted anywhere on the site
Control whether your profile is visible to other members or kept private

Your profile is always yours to customize — and you decide what others can see.

Persistent Recipe Collections (Across All Devices)

All visitors can create recipe collections, but only members can access their collections anywhere they log in. Your saved recipes follow you from phone to tablet to desktop, so your favorites are always right where you left them.

Persistent Private Recipe Notes (Across All Devices)

Private notes are available to everyone, but only members have their notes synced across all logged‑in devices. Your tips, tweaks, and reminders stay with you no matter where you’re baking.

Persistent Shopping Lists (Across All Devices) and Instant Shopping Lists

All visitors can generate a shopping list for any (or all) of their recipe collections, but only members can access those shopping lists across all their logged in devices. In addition, members can use the Chocoholic Anonymous Baking Run List to instantly create a custom temporary shopping list from recipes they add on the fly.

Shareable Recipe Collections

Members can choose to share their curated recipe collections with other users. Whether you’re building a holiday baking list or gathering your go‑to weekly desserts, sharing collections makes it easy to inspire others.

Members‑Only “Sweet Inspirations”

Members get access to Sweet Inspirations, a selection of curated galleries designed to spark creativity and help you discover new recipes and ideas. Once logged in, you’ll find a new “Sweet Inspirations” toggle in your sidebar navigation.

If you opt in, we’ll send a Monday‑morning newsletter filled with new recipes, recommendations, and baking tips — a little dose of inspiration to start your week.

A Final Note

Membership is completely optional. All recipes on Chocoholic Anonymous remain free and accessible to every visitor. Becoming a member simply gives you more ways to save, organize, and enjoy the content you already love.
